Specialist in research methodology and quantitative data analysis methods. He graduated in sociology in Social Research and Data Analysis specialization as well as philosophy from Jagiellonian University. He completed PhD study programme in educational measurement at the same university, and methodology courses at Universities of Michigan and Bamberg.
He started his work in the market research by implementing more than 50 national and international projects (i.a., for John Deere and Deutsche Telekom). Since 2011, he has been cooperating with the Jagiellonian University’s Centre for Evaluation and
Analysis of Public Policies (CEAPP) i.a., on evaluation project of the Polish Education Evaluation System, project of support for building an education evaluation system in Saudi Arabia, counterfactual impact evaluation of the Innovative Economy Operational Programme 2007-2013 (OPIE) for the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. He provided expertise for Polish Central Statistical Office and World Bank.
In 2013-2015, he worked with a team of Educational Value Added (EVA) at the Educational Research Institute, where he was involved in analysis and reporting of the results of ongoing research on EVA indicators validity, training and popularization of the method. He is an author and co-author of several publications on educational research, educational measurement, and evaluation.
