Within the project 'Use of knowledge from evaluations on regional level - mechanisms of civic supervision (WERE)' we wanted to create mechanisms of civic control over the regional administration, in terms of use of knowledge derived from evaluation research commissioned by those entities.

We intended to assess, in particular, how the results of evaluations are used by the regional self-government of Mazowieckie in the process of construction of the implementation system of EU funds for 2014-2020, so it would be friendly to beneficiaries.

Thanks to the activities carried out within the WERE project we wanted to contribute to increasing the use of recommendations from evaluation studies in order to reduce the bureaucratic burden for the beneficiaries of EU funds.
