Study visit of representatives of the Chinese government

Our Foundation co-organized a study visit of representatives of the Chinese government in Prague and Warsaw.

On 11-14 November 2014 these two European capitals were visited by representatives of the Chinese National Development and Reform Commission and provinces of Inner Mongolia, Hubei and Guangzhou.

During their visit to the Czech capital the delegates met the representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development. The topics of the meeting included ia. Czech investment plans from EU funds in 2014-2020, development of cities in the Czech Republic and experiences in the field of European Territorial Cooperation.

In Warsaw, past experiences of the city in the implementation of the EU funds were presented, together with the examples of support for entrepreneurs offered by the city. During the visit, the possibilities of further cooperation of Foundation experts under the program were also discussed.

The visit took place under the initiative CETREGIO – Chinese – European Training in Regional Policy, initiated by the European Commission. The program aim is to strengthen links between the Chinese and European regions.
