Discussion about SMEs in V4 countries

Conference in Budapest

On September 25-26, 2019, an international conference entitled 'Challenges and good practices of SMEs in V4 countries' took place in Budapest. It was a part of our project funded by the International Visegrad Fund, which we implement together with HÉTFA Research Institute (Hungary), Slovak Business Agency (SK) and University of Economics in Prague (CZ).

During the meeting, we had the opportunity to exchange information and knowledge on the most current challenges for SMEs in the Visegrad countries. The conference tackled different trends in Europe and in the Visegrad countries - from circular economy, industry 4.0, through female entrepreneurship to start-ups.

Among the panelists we had a strong group of our experts :

On the first day, Rafał Trzciński presented the evaluator's perspective on the support of companies while Piotr Stronkowski introduced the participants to Polish system of social economy support. On the second day Maciej Kolczyński spoke about developing start-ups in Poland as well as condition of family entrepreneurship.
The "V4 Network on Entrepreneurship" project is implemented with a grant from the International Visegrad Fund
